Dr. Muba Taher MD, FRCP(C), FAAD, FACMS, MDS
Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine, University of Alberta, Division of Dermatology
Fellow, American College of Mohs Surgery
Dr. Taher is a member of the University of Alberta Dermatology residency program training committee and an examiner in Dermatology for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons. In past years, he has served as a board member of the Canadian Society for Dermatologic Surgery and Medical Director of the Alberta Society of Melanoma. He has been part of the clinical faculty of the department of medicine for over 15 years.

Dr. Alexandra Okihiro MD MSc
Dr. Alexandra Okihiro grew up just outside of Toronto, Ontario. She loves a variety of sports and played Division I soccer on scholarship at Purdue University-Fort Wayne. She completed both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science while living in Indiana, USA for six years. She earned her medical school degree and completed her Family Medicine residency at the University of Alberta. She has a special interest in dermatology and enjoys being a part of the Edmonton Dermatology team. When she is not in the clinic, you can find her spending time outdoors, planning trips with friends, or buying new plants for the home (much to her fiancé’s dismay).
Dr. Melanie Ngo MD
Dr. Melanie Ngo is originally from Manitoba. She attended university at the University of Manitoba, where she obtained her Bachelor and Masters of Science degree. She earned her medical degree from the University of Manitoba and completed her Family Medicine residency training at the University of Alberta. She is a practicing family physician with a special interest in dermatology. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, staying active and travelling to a new destination every year.

I love to hike in the great outdoors and spend time at the lake with family, friends and our 2 dogs.
Something unique about me that most people may not know:
I love to learn other languages. I have lived in Africa, Scotland and England. When I retire I plan to live in a motorhome touring in the summer and Mexico in the winter.
